Hypoxic Training After Work

After work today, I went to a hypoxic training gym for a treadmill run.

ICT Study

For my AI and IT study, I watched an archived live seminar from the AI Skill Academy for the first time in a while. This session provided an overview of Claude's key features. Lately, I have been focusing heavily on learning about Claude.

Money Study

For my personal finance study with GFS, I listened to another interview-style lecture featuring a guest investor. I like this format because it is easy to follow, almost like listening to a radio show. Of course, that alone is not enough, so I plan to keep up with the more standard lectures as well.

Language Study

On Duolingo, I practiced English, Chinese, and Spanish while on the move. I also watched Spanish YouTube videos again today to work on my listening comprehension and build my vocabulary.

Indoor Zwift Session on a Humid Evening

I got held up at work today, so once I got home, I did an indoor Zwift ride. It was incredibly hot and humid, so I turned on the air conditioning—but even then, I was sweating profusely after about 30 minutes.

ICT Study

For my AI studies, I continued working through a Claude course on Udemy. It is packed with content, so it is taking me some time to complete. Afterward, I watched a Microsoft Azure security video while riding on Zwift.

Money Study

I did not focus on any financial studies today, dedicating my time instead to AI and language learning.

Language Study

During my commute, I practiced English, Chinese, and French on Duolingo. After dinner, I searched for and watched road-bike-related videos on YouTube in Chinese and French. Fortunately, both videos were relatively short.youtu.be

A Short Swim at Chofu City Gym

After returning home today, I headed to the Chofu City General Gymnasium pool for a swim. I had misread the closing time by an hour, so I only managed to swim for less than 30 minutes. While it is more affordable than the Keio Arena Tokyo, the early closing time is certainly a drawback for weekday visits. Additionally, the walk from home took longer than I had anticipated.

I am continuing my studies on AI by working through a Claude course on Udemy.

Money Study

Regarding my GFS finance studies, I am currently listening to an interview with a guest investor. There is so much to learn from the dialogue between successful investors.

Language Study

On Duolingo, I am currently practicing English, Chinese, and Korean. I managed to squeeze in some study time even while commuting to the gym. I also watched an investment explainer video in Korean on YouTube. While I cannot fully comprehend the content directly yet, I was able to grasp the main points with the help of Gemini.

Evening Run

After getting home today, I went for an evening run. Although it was short, I managed to fit in some interval training.

ICT Study

For my AI and IT studies, I continued the Claude course on Udemy. I thought Fable 5 had been taken down, but it seems to be back online. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be available on the free plan, but its performance looks incredible.

Money Study

I also kept up my financial studies with GFS under the same instructor. Today's lesson was a talk-show style session featuring a well-known investor as a guest. In what felt like a radio program, I picked up a lot of practical insights and personal mindsets from both of them as investors.

Morning Run

It is an early-shift week, so I will be doing my workouts at night after getting home. Since it was drizzling today, I opted for a ride on Zwift.

ICT Study

While riding on Zwift, I watched a Udemy course on Claude. It was still in the introductory phase, but that was more than enough for today. I also made progress on a playlist-style video series about Microsoft security, similar to the SC-500: Microsoft Cloud and AI Security Engineer course. That said, it was a little hard to follow because the content was originally in English and has been translated into Japanese. Since I am not yet at the level where I can comfortably understand it in English as it is, I kept pausing the video to clarify things using NotebookLM.

Money Study

For my GFS money studies, I watched a Q&A video answering student questions and an additional lesson on real estate investing. Real estate seems to involve many more factors to consider than stock investing. If done well, it could turn into a steady stream of recurring income, but it also struck me as quite demanding to manage as a side hustle.

Language Study

On Duolingo, I studied English, Chinese, and French during my commute. I would like to add activities like watching YouTube videos in each language or practicing conversation with AI, but it is still difficult to fit them into my weekdays. I think I will need to carve out some dedicated time on the weekends.

Today, I attended an asset management event called the 27th Rakuten Securities Festival. Since it was an investment-related event, I was curious to see what it would be like. It turned out to be surprisingly festive, yet it still provided plenty of valuable and practical takeaways.

For my GFS money studies, I watched an archived live lecture. It covered very practical topics, including the essential mindset for individual investors to succeed and a review of the performance of stocks previously selected alongside students.

Language Study

To attend the event, I had to skip my usual workout. Furthermore, the printed materials distributed at the venue were quite heavy, so my shoulders became stiff from carrying them around all day.

Running in Low-Oxygen Conditions

Today, I visited a low-oxygen gym for some treadmill training. Although it is about 7.5 km away, I decided to walk there today. The heat left me feeling a bit exhausted before I even started. After the workout, I took a relaxing stroll around Inokashira Park.

ICT Study

For my technology studies, I started a Udemy course on Claude. In addition, I began preparing for the Microsoft SC-500 exam and reviewing Azure operations for my job, using video content on the official Microsoft e-learning platform. The site features an impressive AI chat tool that generates a customized learning path after you input your goals and timeframe. This felt very characteristic of Microsoft. Google offers similar free video content, and it is wonderful to see how dedicated these tech giants are to educating and supporting users and engineers alike. The materials are in English, but the automatic translation feature made them easy to follow.

Money Study

Regarding my financial studies with GFS, I watched several news commentaries and weekly market updates, which provided a lot of substantial information.

Language Study

On Duolingo, I kept up with my daily practice in English, Chinese, and Korean.
